Deck in Progress

We are in the process of putting up our new deck. Ernie and Bird worked all day Saturday on it and then a few more of Bird's buddies came out sunday for more building fun. They made good progress but we still have a ways to go. Silly me I forgot to take pictures of the decks we had before we tore them down. We had two junky decks and when were done we will have one big deck with two levels. I will post again when its all done, hopefully soon!!

Chris's Surprise Party

Chri's 50th birthday party went well. Chris was very surprised and there was a great turn out. He was such a sport about wearing his new wig, either that or he was just real drunk.He got some really funny gifts

Happy Birthday Talan!

Talan enjoyed his birthday party! There were a ton of wonderful friends and family and Talan's little buddies. It was very hot and busy in Caesarland but all in all it went well. However I will never do that again on a Saturday in warm weather. Thanks to everyone for coming, you made the day special!

THe New Trampoline

Thanks to the some of the Gingrich clan Talan got a new trampoline. He is so excited and so is his mom!!! YAY!

Mega 80's Rock!

We all went to club Rush (I think thats what its called now) to see the Mega 80's band last night and a fun time was had by all, Ok I know I had fun I am not sure about everyone else. And thanks to Big Daddy Taxi we all made it home safe!
Rachel was really enjoying whatever was in that cup(and by the way Rachel if you read this please notice that I fixed the spelling of Jamaica!)Trisha and Paul joined in on the fun, and Trisha is such a good sport hanging out with all of us drunkies since she had to be Paul's DD.And here we have the bithday girl and Tommy! Poor Sarah, I know I was driving her crazy, I am sure she was like "and shell and I are friends why?" Love you sar!Even Dad came to hang out and watch the awesome band.I mean how could you tell this is my dad it's not like we look alike or anything! I even got to hang out with my long lost friend Christina, I do miss you lots!!!

My New Purse

This is a proud moment in any parents life when their son starts carrying a purse. I got a new one at a purse party last night and obviously Talan likes it just as much as me. He put it on his shoulder and said "Lets go Mom!" Bird didn't think it was as cute as I did!

Early Birthday Present

Talan was surprised to find a new scooter with his name on it when we got home this evening. Aunt Jeno and Uncle Don and Family had dropped off Talan's Birthday present a little early so that he could use it with this nice weather. As you can see from the pictures he enjoyed it very much and he is already a pro!!

Helping Papa!

Talan and Papa took several load of my and Birds Yucka Plants that we tore out of our front yard and dumped them in to his woods, Thanks Papa! Talan has learned how to put the key in the golf cart and make it go!

Yard Work

We worked hard all afternoon tearing out the landscaping in the whole front of the house. It was lots of hard work but everyone pitched in even talan. He helped shovel and move rocks. It took a long time to get the Yucka plants out because of their huge deep roots(as you can see from the picture above). We did get them all out now we just have to decide what were going to put there so it doesn't look trashy and unfinished.

Iam sure Bird is very excited about hearing my ideas and all the hard work that will go with them. I will keep you updated!

More Friday Night Fun!

We have kinda started a friday night ritual between my family and my friend Danielle's family. We love getting together and letting the kids play while the adults indulge in some drinks and play some games. It is quite exciting and we have a riot! Catch Phrase is the game of choice and I am happy to report that the girls won most of the rounds last night even if Danielle didn't know what an airport was!! I ended my night a little earlier then everyone else, thanks to a little thing called Arbor Mist.
Jeanna even brought Carter over to play with the kids. Carter's favorite thing to do was shoot baskets in Talan's new basketball game. Judging by how many baskets he made I am guessing Jeanna and Brett have an NBA star on their hands.

Daddy's Home!

Talan was quite surprised and super excited this morning to see his that his Daddy was home from his 6 week work trip to Oregon. Talan made him get out of bed and watch the deer hunting video bright and early and as you can see Bird was not as excited to watch it as Talan was! Welcome Home Bird!
