Ryker 3 Month Pictures

You would think with summer break I would have time to update my blog more often. Where does the time go? Anyway, here are a few of Ryker's 3month pictures. They turned out well. He continues to be a happy, healthy baby. Talan loves his brother and is a great help. Talan is enjoying summer, being outside, going to the library, and doing a sports activity in the park each week. Bird and I continue to play softball and hang out with our kids. I will try to add more pic's soon.

I took Talan to Portrait Innovations to get his 3 year pictures done. They did a great job! Here are just a few of the 60 pictures they took. And Yes I can't believe my baby is 3 already. Time sure does fly!

Pancake Artist!

So every Sunday we go to my dads for coffee and Talan gets animal pancakes. My dad started just making him Mickey Mouse pancakes and then he started taking requests. First Talan wanted a horse and the next week he wanted an elephant. Then he asked for a deer with horns. Today Talan got a bunny because it was Easter, although I didn't load that picture yet. I wonder what he will get next week! The HorseThe Elephant!

Talan the Photographer

So Talan got a hold of my camera when I was in the shower the other day. He decided he was going to take a few pictures first of himself and then of baby brother. This is how the pictures turned out. New Addition to our Family!

Our family now has a wonderful new addition. A new baby boy: Ryker Donald Parsons. He was born on February 26th, 2009 at 2:33 in the afternoon. He was 7lbs 7oz and was 20 inches. We got to bring him home on Saturday and he has been doing really good. He sleeps a lot which is a total change from Talan. When he is awake he is bright eyed and happy. He loves to cuddle! He has a lot of hair and right now its a little dark. Talan's hair was dark too and then look what happened, it turned white. He looks just like Talan did at birth, it's almost like I gave birth to the same kid twice that's how similar their baby pictures look. Talan loves his new little brother and he has been such a good helper. He enjoys helping take care of him for now at least!Talan and his new baby brother!

Talan's New Room

Thanks to a wonderful, creative friend of the family, Talan's room is now complete. She came over and within just a few hours or more we had all the details painted on the walls of his room. There is a baseball border around the entire room, there is also a baseball glove with a 3D ball. She painted a baseball jersey with Parsons wrote on the back. She also put crossing bats above the closet with the year that he was born. It turned out very cute and I am so thankful for her help, she is so talented!

Gymnastic's Week 2

Talan enjoyed yet another gymnastics's class. He has a lot of energy but tries really hard to listen and follow directions. He practices his somersaults at home telling everyone he learned that "at my class".
